I watched a video today that talked about overprotective moms and how kids don’t realize that having an overprotective mom means they’re loved. Then, it said this (I’m paraphrasing):

You’ve got the warrior mom…the one who sees battles coming your way, and she’s in the front ready to fight them for you.

I hope my kids see one day that they had that mom. I would literally try to slay dragons for them if necessary, and I wouldn’t think twice about it. Knowing that they can learn from fighting battles doesn’t make me want to let them suffer. I want them never have to face those battles.

As I think of them living in a world where they don’t have to face battles, I know the answer is clear. I have got to get them to Heaven. So I’m going to continue to fight THAT battle until the day I die so that one day they can live where there is no pain and no suffering.

Nehemiah 4:14 And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.
