
Well this week was fun. I did things I never thought I would do. I ate fake faux potatoes (yes you read it right), I passed on pizza, I made pepperoni rolls and didn’t eat them, I drank a full 64 oz of water every day, and I’m still here and not dying. In fact, the verdict is in and since last Sunday I am officially down 6.8 lbs and over three inches…read that again. I am under no illusions that the first few pounds doesn’t come off easier because it’s mostly water weight, but I also FEEL better. I am more energetic and ready to go. I’m sleeping better. And I’m doing these things and feeling this way WITHOUT the help of diet medications which is what I have always done before to lose weight.
I was disappointed in only two of the fuelings that was sent to me in the diet plan: the “mashed potatoes” and the penne. The first day of the diet, I stayed home so that I could concentrate on doing the actual diet and not be trying to do multiple things at once. I’m glad I did that, because ingot a lot done that needed done at the house. I looked awful from working on the house all day, but I wanted to share the video of me eating the mashed potatoes.
I have not eaten them since lol. I have two boxes of them…
**update: I ate them again today and apparently I did something wrong the first time because they were much better!
My favorite thing to eat on this diet is the chocolate brownie with Greek yogurt chips.
It’s actually delicious and next time I order a box of food I’m getting enough of these for every single day.
If you haven’t figured out from the language and the food I’m sharing, the program is Optavia. I think what I like most about it is that it takes the guess work out of everything. I’m not counting calories. I’m not trying to fool anyone (I can face it…I’m a sneaky dieter. If no one sees me eat it then did I really eat it?). Everything about this program is functional. I can do this everyday no matter what I’m doing. I eat a lean green meal each day. That consists of 6 oz of meat (chicken for me) and either broccoli or salad (for me). I keep saying “for me” because I am so picky. There are a TON of options for people less picky than I am. I hope I continue to have success and will power to get where I want to be and stay there.
