It’s a new year and as corny as it sounds, that means it’s time to commit to changes; to make goals you intend to reach.
I have watched my oldest (Carlea) struggle the last year with just the way life is. I also watched my girls be baptized, so I feel like at least I’m preparing them adequately to face this scary world (eventually). I’ve also watched my daughter emerge from a dark place the last month or so, and completely return to her old self in the last two weeks...sometimes we just need a companion.

Our new family member named Dasher has been a blessing.
We have been getting back into the swing of things after the kids’ Christmas Break and my scheduled (or more accurately not scheduling)hiatus from the business. as much as I have enjoyed every second of taking pictures, my kids and my house needed attention.
When I picked up the camera again, I was immediately blessed with three AWESOME sessions!

This family wanted some quick family pics while they were all in the same state. What a beautiful and sweet family. I was so excited about this shoot that I got all pics edited in one sitting!

This is Haylee. She was one of the first Seniors to get a session. We took some homecoming pics early on that were super sweet, but it took awhile to get to take individuals. It’s taken some work to mesh our schedules, but finally we got to the session portion of things! She has been friends with my neice for a long time and her mom and I are friends, so I’ve watched her grow into a beautiful woman...and now I feel old.

This is Lance. I’ve worked in the school system on and off for 13 years, so we have another kid I’ve watched grow up over the years ( and this kid is also my sister in law’s nephew). He’s always been a doll, and just as pretty as he is handsome! Haylee and Lance are a future power couple based on their relationship now and their life goals. I can’t wait to see what life has in store for them!
Having these three sessions fall into place was a blessing. This showed me that sometimes, things DO just fall into place. When it does it’s nice, but when it doesn’t, be thankful for those times when the stars aligned in your favor. PRAISE THE LORD in all things!
I am ready to see what 2019 has in store!
